In edition the comment is on the changes starting to take place.
For the first time there was no intake of first year pupils, as the
school started to make the changes that would see pupils not arriving at
Trinity until 13+. The chairman of governors, Alderman Frederick
Tollit retired. Two innovations were noted, the installation of
two hot drink vending machines and the success of the sixth form driving
courses.
