Norman French went to THS from 1946 to 1950 and had a beautiful copy of the 1947 photo, which is now available here. When Norman first showed it to me I was amazed to see that my uncle was sat amongst the teachers. I had no idea he had ever taught at the school. I have since found out that he was at the school very briefly. Having been discharged from the services after the war, he decided to go into teaching, and spent a short time teaching at Trinity before he went to Teacher Training College.
